Terrific Tuesdays
The Healing Place's summer camp program, Terrific Tuesdays, took place every Tuesday during the months of June and July (with the exception of the week of the 4th of July) from 10am-1pm at 2409 Wildwood Street in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Filled with therapeutic programming for children ages 5-12, Terrific Tuesdays taught participants coping skills and stress management techniques for those processing grief.

Terrific Tuesdays was a camp for children ages 5-12 who have experienced the death of a special person in their lives, regardless of how long ago the loss occurred. Terrific Tuesdays camp provided a weekly opportunity for children to interact with peers in a safe, supported environment. We had many healing activities planned including yoga, arts and crafts, support animals, and more. ​
