Volunteer Opportunities

Healing Hearts Day Camp “Buddy

Each year, the fourth Saturday in April, The Healing Place offers a one day, day
camp for children who have lost a loved one.  Each camper is paired with an adult called a “Buddy.”  They Buddy will hang out with, listen to, play games, and do fun arts & crafts with a child.  A volunteer training is conducted the day of the day camp.

We are looking for student interns that are interested in grief and loss, human services, psychology, social work, marketing & communications, etc.
