We all have different responsibilities in life, and sometimes, it can be hard to juggle them all at once. However, it is essential to listen to your body when it signals a need for a break. In terms of anxiety, our body can show us in many different ways when we need to destress.

Anxiety Symptoms:

  • Trouble Sleeping

  • Cold, sweaty, or tingling hands or feet

  • Dizziness

  • Feeling Weak or Lightheaded

  • Trouble Concentrating

  • Trouble Breathing

  • Increased Heart Rate

  • Headache

  • Nausea

  • Restless Feeling

  • Upset Stomach

If you or your child displays any of these symptoms, it is important to find ways to reduce anxiety levels by taking the time to relax and destress. Destressing can be as simple as completing breathing exercises or just taking a minute for yourself.
